We currently have our own growlers, but we are happy to fill your growlers after sterilizing in our dishwasher. We now offer crowlers (32oz cans) of select brews as well.
Pale Ale | 5.0% ABV |40 IBUs
One of our flagship offerings, this pale ale was inspired by the first ever craft beer brewer Parke Rouse ever had, the legendary Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. A medium-bodied malt base backs a generous hop profile of citrus and pine from Cascade & Chinook hops in our take on the classic American Pale Ale.
Pairings: Braised meats, earthy+rich cheeses (brie+camembert), burger+fries.
Pilsner| 4.8% ABV | 23 IBUs
This Czech-style pale lager is brewed to showcase the bready malt character found in pilsner malts, the herbal spiciness of Czech Saaz hops and the clean, dry finish of lager fermentation. The original water profile used for this classic beer style is very similar to the water found at a local farm on the edge of the George Washington National Forest and as such, all our lagers are made using water from that farm.
Pairings: Bratwursts, hot dogs or a roast chicken. Mild cheeses work nicely as well as most salads.
Irish Red Ale | 4.4% ABV | 20 IBUs
An Irish-style red ale with a bit of extra American oomph. This beer strikes a wonderful balance between drinkability and being packed with flavor from caramel and toffee to subtle red fruit notes.
Pairings: Irish stew, bangers and mash, corned beef, deli sandwiches.
Hazy IPA | 7.5% ABV | 45 IBUs
Our Double Dry-Hopped Hazy IPA blends the two most popular IPA styles: New England IPA and West Coast IPA. New England IPAs are hazy and typically have lower IBUs (less bitter) than other styles. West Coast IPAs on the other hand, have more of a malt to hop balance and higher IBUs (more bitter). Both feature strong hop aromatics and flavor with New England IPAs featuring tropical and citrus while West Coast IPAs feature piney, herbal and citrus hop notes. All of this to say, this IPA is meant to appeal to people who like both style IPAs. Oats and wheat add to the haziness as well as the softer mouthfeel this beer has.
Pairings: Fried chicken, grilled vegetables, mushroom pasta.
Coffee Milk Stout| 5.5% ABV | 34 IBUs
Our second collaboration beer, it is a medium bodied American stout with an addition of 5 gallons of cold brew coffee roasted and brewed by local coffee roasters, Crucible Coffee. While the coffee is a strong flavor addition, there are additional notes of chocolate and roasted malt. This beer has a low carbonation and is served using nitrogen. We also add lactose which adds a slight sweetness and with the nitrogen, produces a velvety smooth texture. Contains Lactose.
Pairings: Roasted meats, stews, rich pasta dishes, breakfast+brunch dishes
Winter Porter | 7% ABV | 30 IBUs
This porter is known as a Robust American porter. What this means is that both the palate and ABV are more intense and higher, respectively. It is our strongest flagship beer, and is a perfect suggestion for someone looking for a heavier offering. Toasted malt and dark fruit are the dominant flavors found in this beer. A lower carbonation in addition to some oat malt makes the mouthfeel of this beer smoother and pillowy.
Pairings: Steak+potatoes, rich stews, aged hard cheeses (aged gouda+aged cheddar).
Rock Dry Cider | 7% ABV |
Our first ever cider produced is a blend of Winesap and Golden Delicious apples from Amherst and Nelson counties. While the cider is fermented entirely dry, the intense aroma and palate of fresh apple balances that dryness and the crisp acidity.
Pairings: Braised pork, roasted butternut squash, young cheddar+cured meats.
Sparkling Riesling |12% ABV | Semi-Dry
We force carbonated a small selection of our estate grown Riesling to offer in our taproom in a more celebratory fashion (bubbles!). The tropical fruit profile of this semi-dry Riesling comes bursting into life in this form all while the bright acidity helps contrast the slight sweet character of the wine. Only available by the glass in the taproom.
Pairings: Razzbourne Farm goat cheeses, aged meats+crackers.
