Pale Ale | 5.2% ABV |40 IBUs
One of our flagship offerings, this pale ale was inspired by the first ever craft beer brewer Parke Rouse ever had, the legendary Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. A medium-bodied malt base backs a generous hop profile of citrus and pine from Cascade & Chinook hops in our take on the classic American Pale Ale.
Pairings: Braised meats, earthy+rich cheeses (brie+camembert), burger+fries.
West Coast IPA | 6.2% ABV |42 IBUs
West-coast style IPA, our take on the American classic. Made with a very healthy dose of Cascade, Citra, Centennial and Amarillo hops to produce and IPA bursting with flavors of pine and sweet citrus.
Pairings: Spicy hot chicken wings, chips and guac, tacos, anything Korean.
Pilsner| 4.8% ABV | 23 IBUs
This Czech-style pale lager is brewed to showcase the bready malt character found in pilsner malts, the herbal spiciness of Czech Saaz hops and the clean, dry finish of lager fermentation. The original water profile used for this classic beer style is very similar to the water found at a local farm on the edge of the George Washington National Forest and as such, all our lagers are made using water from that farm.
Pairings: Bratwursts, hot dogs or a roast chicken. Mild cheeses work nicely as well as most salads.
Robust Porter | 6.5% ABV | 35 IBUs
The weather gods knew what was in the cards with a cool start to August: the re-release of the Rockbridge Robust Porter! Our most popular dark beer is back and better than ever. Roasted coffee, dark chocolate and a rich nuttiness are complimented by a vibrant, earthy hop profile.
Pairings: Steak+potatoes, rich stews, aged hard cheeses (aged gouda+aged cheddar).
Watermelon Gose | 5.2% ABV | 11 IBUs
A refreshing and tart kettle sour, infused with watermelon puree and pink Himalayan Sea salt. All flavors are carefully balanced to create a beer that isn’t too sour to enjoy a full glass and offers delicate fruit offset with the salty tang of the Gose style.
Pairings: Lobster rolls, ceviche, goat cheese, rich meats and grilled veggies.
Rock Dry Cider | 7% ABV |
Our first ever cider produced is a blend of Winesap and Golden Delicious apples from Amherst and Nelson counties. While the cider is fermented entirely dry, the intense aroma and palate of fresh apple balances that dryness and the crisp acidity.
Pairings: Braised pork, roasted butternut squash, young cheddar+cured meats.
Sparkling Riesling |12% ABV | Semi-Dry
We force carbonated a small selection of our estate grown Riesling to offer in our taproom in a more celebratory fashion (bubbles!). The tropical fruit profile of this semi-dry Riesling comes bursting into life in this form all while the bright acidity helps contrast the slight sweet character of the wine. Only available by the glass in the taproom.
Pairings: Razzbourne Farm goat cheeses, aged meats+crackers.
